Free Heart Health Screenings and Assessments Continue in December

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, resulting in more than 375,000 deaths each year.  St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, in partnership with Breckenridge Grand Vacations, is offering free heart health screenings during December.

Drop-in (no appointment necessary) at the St. Anthony Summit Medical Center Specialty Care and Infusion Center (360 Peak One Drive, 3rd floor) in Frisco for a free blood draw on Friday, December 6 from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.  Once you receive your test results from your blood draw (typically within three weeks), you can drop in to review those results with the cardiac nurse on Friday, December 20 from 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.  And now through December 11, individuals may schedule a blood draw appointment by calling 970-668-2450.

Appointments are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only from 8 am until noon.  Remember to fast for 8 hours the night before your blood draw for the most accurate test results.  Screenings and assessments only take 5 – 10 minutes and could save your life.
