Breckenridge Grand Vacations gets into the Pink

On March 3, a bright, warm and sunny blue-sky Saturday morning; nearly 60 employees, family members, and friends strapped on their snowshoes, Yaktrax or simply walked along in snow boots to support the Komen Snowshoe for the Cure at the Frisco Nordic Center. More than 1,000 participants enabled Susan G. Komen Colorado to exceed their $40,000 goal for the event. Proceeds will provide breast health education and screenings; as well as treatment and support services to underserved, uninsured and at-risk women and men across Komen Colorado’s 22-county service area. The BGV participants were easily noticed in the large crowd as they proudly wore their bright pink custom designed team shirts.

Thanks to Chris Knudsen from the BGV Creative Services Department for the signature design on the front of the shirts. In addition to the BGV participants, Breckenridge Grand Vacations provided generous financial support as the Start Line sponsor. Brett Lomoro, who works for BGV in the Summit County OPC Department and owns his own DJ business, had the honor of addressing the crowd on behalf of Breckenridge Grand Vacation’s support of the event as well as the official starter for the various 3k and 5k distance waves of participants. Special thanks to everyone who was up bright and early to support this important cause.
