Free Heart Health Screenings Continue

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, resulting in more than 375,000 deaths each year.  St. Anthony Summit Medical Center, in partnership with Breckenridge Grand Vacations, is offering free heart health screenings throughout the months of May, June and July.  In addition to the regularly scheduled quarterly screenings and assessments, individuals may take advantage of the free cholesterol blood draws, weekly by appointment, at the St. Anthony Summit Medical Specialty Care and Infusion Center, Suite 300, in the Medical Office Building in Frisco.  Blood draw appointments are available Tuesday through Thursday from 8 am – 3 pm.  Once you receive the results from your blood draw, you can make an appointment with the cardiac nurse to review those results.  The next community Heart Health Blood Draw event is scheduled for Friday, June 15 and the follow-up assessment event will be on Friday, June 29.  Both events take place at CHPG High Country Healthcare in Frisco in the Medical Office Building at 360 Peak One Drive, Suite 260.  Additional screenings and assessments are scheduled September 12 and December 5 and September 27 and December 19 in Breckenridge and Silverthorne, respectively.  Screenings and assessments only take 5 – 10 minutes and could save your life.  Schedule your appointment today at summitmedicalcenter.org/events or by calling 970-668-2450.
